Summer Solstice |

WSBP's Mike Lazaro has been
the Logistics Director in the past, for the Sunken Gardens Gala following
parade in years past. Summer Solstice Celebration has
evolved into a street carnival of more than 1,000 parade
participants, complete with extravagant floats, whimsical
costumes and creatively choreographed dancing ensembles. It
is the largest single-day event in Santa Barbara County,
drawing crowds from near and far of over 100,000 spectators. |

The event features fantastic Classic American Cars, Vintage
cars, Motorcycles, and a plethora of various flowers and

For the past 6 years Lazaro
has been the Director of Vendor Operations in De La Guerra Plaza
for this event. Santa Barbarans have long been proud of
their city's heritage from Spanish founders and from the
Spanish, Mexican and North American pioneers who first
settled here and built the city. The tradition of colorful
music, dance and song, together with a spirit of
friendliness, hospitality and tolerance are part of this
heritage which the Fiesta "Old Spanish Days In Santa
Barbara" seeks to preserve and perpetuate. The event
annually draws thousands of visitors from around the world
who contribute to the local economy. |

Masters beach volleyball tournament at Carpinteria Beach.
Cost is $10.00 per player. Check-in @ 8:30am. Play begins

WSBP has been Director of
Operations and Director of Entertainment for the past 19
years. The Avocado Festival has evolved into one of the
largest festivals in California with three days of fabulous
food, terrific music, and great safe family fun. Santa
Barbara County is the third largest avocado producer in
North America, so why not avocados? This year over forty
non-profit groups will benefit by catering to 100,000
avocado visitors. The California Avocado Festival itself is
a
non-profit group that generates it's own operating revenue
each year. |
